RK Autoelectricals

Terms of Use

Last updated: 16 October 2026

This page is published in English. If it is translated, the English version prevails.

Please read these Terms carefully. They explain the rules for using the RK Autoelectricals website, what you can rely on, and what happens when you enquire about or book a vehicle with us.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and RK Autoelectricals ("we", "us" or "our"), Muzaffarpur, Bihar, India. They apply when you use www.rkautoelectricals.com (the "Website") or send us an enquiry through it.

By using the Website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website. These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not need a physical or digital signature.

2. What the Website is for

We are an authorised dealer of electric scooties and e-rickshaws. The Website lets you browse our vehicles, compare them, and send us an enquiry. Vehicles are not sold online, and no payment is taken on the Website.

Adding vehicles to your cart or submitting an enquiry is a request for us to contact you. It is not an order, an offer to buy, or a contract, and it does not reserve a vehicle or a price.

3. Who may use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to send an enquiry or book a vehicle. If you use the Website on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it. Please give us accurate, current information about yourself.

4. Vehicle information and prices

We take care to keep the Website accurate, but please note:

  • Photos are for illustration. Colours, finishes and accessories of the vehicle you receive may differ slightly.
  • Specifications come from the manufacturers and may change without notice.
  • Range, speed and charging time are indicative. Real-world figures depend on load, road and weather conditions, riding style, tyre pressure, and the age and care of the battery.
  • Prices shown are indicative ex-showroom prices. Unless stated otherwise they do not include registration, insurance, accessories, extended warranty or delivery charges. GST and other taxes apply as per law. Prices and offers may change without notice.
  • Availability is not guaranteed; stock, variants and colours depend on supply from the manufacturer.

The price and specifications that apply to your purchase are the ones in the written quotation or bill we give you. If we discover an error on the Website, we may correct it, even after you have enquired.

5. Quotations, bookings and delivery

  • A quotation is valid until the date printed on it.
  • A booking is confirmed only when we accept it at our showroom (or in writing) and you pay the booking amount, for which you receive a receipt.
  • Cancellation of a booking, and any refund of the booking amount, follows the terms told to you at the time of booking and printed on your receipt or bill.
  • Delivery dates are estimates and can change due to supply, registration or other reasons outside our control. We will keep you informed of any delay.
  • Ownership of the vehicle passes to you on full payment and delivery, as recorded on your bill.

6. Test rides, licences and registration

  • For a test ride, you must follow our staff's instructions and traffic rules, wear a helmet, and hold a valid driving licence where the vehicle requires one. You are responsible for damage or injury caused by your own negligence during a test ride.
  • Electric scooters sold as low-speed models (top speed up to 25 km/h and motor power up to 250 W) do not need registration or a driving licence under current Motor Vehicles rules. All other models, including e-rickshaws, must be registered and insured, and the driver must hold the appropriate licence.
  • Altering a vehicle to increase its speed or power is illegal, may make it unsafe, and voids its warranty.
  • You are responsible for providing correct documents for registration, insurance and finance. Insurance and loans are provided by third-party insurers, banks and NBFCs on their own terms — we only help you apply.

7. Warranty and service

Vehicles and batteries carry the manufacturer's warranty, on the terms in the warranty card or booklet supplied with the vehicle. As the dealer, we help you register the warranty and make claims, and we provide service support.

Warranties usually do not cover normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse or overloading, unauthorised repairs or modifications, use of non-approved chargers or batteries, or water damage beyond the vehicle's rating. Please read your warranty card for the exact terms.

8. Acceptable use

When using the Website, you must not:

  • break any law, or use the Website for a fraudulent or harmful purpose;
  • submit false information, impersonate anyone, or submit enquiries in someone else's name without their permission;
  • send spam, or repeatedly submit forms by automated means;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the Website or our systems;
  • upload or spread viruses or any other harmful code, or interfere with the Website's working; or
  • copy, scrape or harvest content or data from the Website by automated means without our written permission.

We may block access or refuse enquiries from anyone who breaks these rules.

9. Intellectual property

The Website's design, text, graphics, our logo and our photographs belong to RK Autoelectricals or are used with permission. Vehicle brand names, logos and product images belong to their respective manufacturers and are used by us as their authorised dealer. You may view and print pages for your personal use in deciding on a purchase. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, publish or use them commercially without written permission from us or the owner.

11. Disclaimer

While we try to keep it accurate and running, we do not promise that the Website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that its information is complete or up to date. Please confirm important details with us before making a decision.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss — such as loss of business, profit or data — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or reliance on its content.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Your rights for a vehicle you buy are set out in your bill, the warranty, and the law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to compensate RK Autoelectricals and its staff for any loss, damage, claim or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Website, or your violation of any law or the rights of another person.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they were last changed. Changes apply from the time they are posted; they do not affect a booking or purchase already made. Continuing to use the Website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, please contact us first — most problems can be solved quickly by talking to us.

Subject to your rights as a consumer, the courts at Muzaffarpur, Bihar have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Website. This does not prevent you from approaching the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission or the National Consumer Helpline (1915) as allowed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

16. General

  • Severability: if any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
  • No waiver: if we do not enforce a right at once, we have not given it up.
  • Entire agreement: these Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about your use of the Website. Your purchase of a vehicle is also governed by your quotation, bill, receipt and warranty.
  • Events beyond our control: we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, government action, or supply or network failures.
